These original compositions and arrangements were written for The New Generation Singers of St. Joseph, Missouri. This “singing youth group” has been traveling across the United States and Canada with their annual sermons-in-song since 1970 — over 50 years!

Ain’t Got Rhythm
from Phineas and Ferb
This groovy song from the hit Disney® TV series Phineas and Ferb will have your singers and audiences dancing in the aisles at your next performance. In the episode, the school librarian (a former rock band drummer) argues he is not able to make music anymore unbeknowningly rapping and creating a stomp-like rhythm groove, inspiring the students in the library to erupt into excited mayhem. Country artists The Avett Brothers have created many contemporary hits within the past decade. This tune is a favorite for choirs, whereas the only instruments that provides accompaniment are the bass guitar and the body percussion performed by members of the choral ensemble (drums can double this part if needed).
